Common questions

It says "Hmm, that didn't work".
The login page rejected your Student ID or password. Connectify stopped after 3 tries so your account is not locked. Open the app, tap Update password, and check that you can sign in on the normal login page.
Nothing happens when I join the campus Wi-Fi.
Check that Wi-Fi-name access (location) is allowed, that notifications are on, and on Android that battery restrictions are off for Connectify (Settings → Battery settings). Some phone makers (Xiaomi, Oppo, Samsung and others) stop background apps unless you exempt them.
Does it work on iPhone?
iOS does not allow apps to watch Wi-Fi in the background. Create a Shortcuts automation: Shortcuts → Automation → New → Wi-Fi → pick your campus network → Run "Log in to campus Wi-Fi" (from Connectify), and turn off "Ask before running".
Is my password safe?
It is stored encrypted on your phone and only sent to your campus login page. See the Privacy Policy.
How do I remove my data?
Settings → Delete all data, or uninstall the app.
Sending a bug report.
Settings → Share diagnostics produces a log of events. It never contains your ID, password or login tokens, so it is safe to send.

Connectify is independent and not affiliated with any university or Fortinet.
